Had a few nice bits in the last few days, including my car insurance renewal reminder (well, it was nice when I checked online and found out how much less I could spend elsewhere!), some lovely Anchor and DMC threads from hada, and some silks from eBay. Which might in fact be rayons, I'm not sure...but they weren't expensive so I don't mind, they're still shiny and fun :)

Today I got a whole box from Joann's (one of the two online orders placed about a week ago) with Aida, evenweave, neon bookmarks, lace bookmarks, Thread Heaven, 2 Q-Snaps, a butterfly needlepoint glasses case, and a tote bag that I plan on being my stitching tote!

Oh wow - today is stash galore!! Arrived home to discover air mail in my box from Mabel - two patterns, thank you!!!

Then, got package 2 of 2 from my stash spree last week arriving from The Silver Needle, with 2 Needlework Garden accessory kits, a pretty beaded needle threader, and a floss strand seperator (the kitty design of course!), along with a few other less exciting but equally necessary essentials

Definitely a fun way to chase away the rainy day blues here!!

I received a small parcel from Sew and so that I ordered: two pieces of 32 count Jobelan and two daylight bulbs but I have no luck: the bulbs - that you cannot buy here - do not fit my lamp :(. I did not dare to order a lamp because of the different plugs (and I cannot afford it anyway), but I thought I could buy some bulbs to use in my old lamp. :x

Oh Agi that is annoying. I hope you can find a way to make them work for you. Can you return the bulbs and get the proper size.

Let us know the bulbs that you need as in size of fitting and whether it is screw or bayonet fiiting.

We have screw fitting in most of our lamps, and the bulbs are bayonett - but I will take a look around tomorrow if I can find a lamp with bayonett fittings (hubby says it is possible) - something cheap, hopefully. In Ikea or Obi or a similar place. If not, I may accept your offer and ask for help, thank you very much.
