:applesauce: This looks beautiful. I can understand about the vase but it is so lovely and so delicate and fragile (like the real thing) that it will be worth it and will get easier with each vase also. Fantastic job.

Thanks Deb! The thing about Martina is that she is ALWAYS coming up with new designs and since I last pondered over what Chatelaine I might start collecting for after CGM is finished, Martina has come up with 2 new designs: 15th Anniversary Mandala of Sleeping Beauty's Castle and the Serengeti Mandala. I guess I will have to go with my usual method of deciding what to stitch next when the time comes: go with whatever screams the loudest!

Thanks for your comments everyone - they are really encouraging especially as for some reason I seemed to have reached a bit of a plateau with this design, probably because I stitched on nothing else but for a while. I've started another fun small today  in the hope that once my concentration picks up I can tackle the over 1 phoenix!

So gorgeous! I feel your pain in regard to fractionals and backstitch. That's just about all Blue Boy is and it's on 36 count. When I did Pinkie my left shoulder freaked out and I had "frozen shoulder" for months. Now I consciously move that shoulder back down away from my ear :D to where it belongs as I'm stitching. All I can say is it is so worth it! Your work is incredible. I love intricate detail. Always have, always will.

Those are amazing designs. I hope that one of you picks one to do and another picks the other one so I watch these develop. Serengeti on the black fabric was so deep and rich looking (not sure how to describe it) and the Castle is lovely. Can't wait for updates to develop.

Wow........just WOW  ! It's looking a-mazing! :applesauce: That vase is sooo beautiful and intricate...I can see why it's a pain to stitch but gosh the results are sooo worth it!! :applesauce:

As for Serengeti....you've GOT to get it......pleeeeeeeeassse....that way I don't have to and I can watch it grow whilst you stitch it!! Honestly though it is sooooo tempting....I just love it!
