Oh dear is it wrong to be a bit :mrgreen: with envy over a childs present? coz I am I think it is beautiful, your choice of fabric and the framing sets it off to perfection. Stunning! :applesauce:

That looks absolutely perfect framed. What a lovely present for a lttle girl and it is extra special because she will love that as a teenager and a grown up. It's not the sort of picture that she will grow out of.
Are you going to have to do another special one for other little people?

I hope you're right about her not outgrowing it. That was kinda my intent. She'd been asking me to stitch something for her for a while (she had a laundry list of things that she wanted :roll: ), but I wanted something that she could enjoy forever without it ever becoming too childish. I hope I succeeded.

As for stitching something for Little One, well I will at some point. I do have both the butterfly and dragonfly fairies from the same series and could do one of those for her, but I may wait until she's a little older and has her own tastes (instead of just liking what big sister likes) and picking something more personal to her. We'll see. She's only 2 1/2 now so I have time before she starts begging for one. :D
