im so bad that...i missed a few of the last season that was on tv..so i won't watch any until it comes out on dvd that way i can watch them in order....
Here is my latest installment... this is over about 4 nights of stitching.... I think I'll have about a month left of stitching and it will be finished.
Sad news too...
My local little sewing shop is closing its doors on 31 March.
So sad as I have got to know the owner really well and we have quite a friendship going.
Maybe we should swap phone numbers.
Anyway she is also having 40% off in store so I've bought up a few DMC colours. Sewing machine needles and cotton etc.
Mine closed a couple of years or more ago. There isn't another one in the city that I've been able to find, either. It's so sad. Then stitchers have to get stuff on-line, so more little shops have to close down... it's such a shame. Mine had a framing service, too, and I've no idea where to look for framing any more. A local shop that does photo framing has shown a mild interest, but not sure if they will be able do any for me.
Tree Beard is really taking shape and will soon be all finished.
Shops closing down are a pain. My local quilt shop has gone now, so it means 2 buses to go get DMC threads. Not found an embroidery shop at all yet.
Is Hands Craft store up in Papanui/Bryndwr still there - I used to get a lot of supplies from there - especially after Ballantynes went out of craft things.
Hope you find somewhere.
