Best of luck for your appointment on Monday Sally :x: , and I hope the new glasses aren't too expensive. (mumble, mumble, coatings, insurance, and other unnecessary add-ons, mutter mutter)

Sally, you have the patience of an angel. But all your hard work is well worth it- he already "looks" at me so attentively. Great work, as usual.

Happy stitching!

I collected my new glasses yesterday. Have yet to try them on some stitching but they are great for reading. I will report later today.

As a person using glasses, I can imagine how comfortable your eyes will feel when you start stitching in your new glasses. Happy stitching!

Oh so true Lyudmilla, I had a grand 3-4 hours yesterday stitching Mr Skewhiff's jacket. It is fabulous to be able to stitch that long again - and with no headache afterwards.

:whoop: Cross stitch all finished. Some half stitches around the feet - grass by the colour range and then a heaps of back stitching in several colours and work out what to do about the silly pom pom at the end of the cap. :) Pictures sometime later next week.

I am being taken out to lunch after church tomorrow so that is Sunday gone with the wind and a relaxing day - I hope.

Ta Da Mr Skewwhiff is FINISHED. I finally had a whole day at home and got it all done and dusted. Here he is all nicely ironed and ready to put aside until late December when he will head off to my eldest grandson's home. Sadly he will still be overseas in the UK (or somewhere in the wide world) so he will get a picture of it for his 21st.

My next project is the Silhouette Angel and I will be stitching her on Chromatic Alchemy's iridescent 18 ct aida called Polar Blast.

Both the chart and a voucher for the fabric were gifted to me by the lovely Tiffany. I am still trying to decide what colour to stitch her on as I hate black in any shape or form. I might post a pic of the 3 I have narrowed it down to and ask for your opinions - yes I think I will and start a separate thread for her as she will take a while to do - the chart is on 9 pages and fit either up or down or at the sides.!
