Re: Lisa's Stitches
The L's come out great -- and I can see why you wanted the penguin on the same side, it looks so much better this way!

I love the cute penguins!!! They are really adorable!

Re: Lisa's Stitches
You've done a great job with this, Lisa!
The L looks like that was the letter that was supposed to be used all along instead of it being the straight part of the T. How does Paul like it?

he loves it, keeps bugging me to make it up, but i wanna use the acid free tape. so I said if it doesnt come tomorrow, i will use the foam tape
I had a break from policy writing before xmas and did a lil mini project, but couldnt finish it till i got the fibre fill, which I get today. Here it is (Agi I kept thinking of you whilst making it as its called "Folk Hearts Pincushion"

Re: Lisa's Stitches
Cute pincushion! That's the type I need to do--sewing can all be done on the outside without having to turn it right side out and sewing the closure.

Re: Lisa's Stitches ~ Pincushion Finished!!!
That's a great pincushion, Lisa -- like BB I am all for things you can sew on the outside
. It looks as though the seam is sewn about two blocks in from the fringing, is that right? And if so, how do you keep it from fraying further inward?

Re: Lisa's Stitches ~ Pincushion Finished!!!
Mabel it is indeed frayed 2 blocks from the sides as per the instructions of the kit. I'm not sure of stopping it fraying. But I am ashamed to say I think it may be put in the drawer and forgotton about
