The L's come out great -- and I can see why you wanted the penguin on the same side, it looks so much better this way!

of course Agi. but the postman didnt bring me the tape or light effects :cry: Paul found some double sided foam tape in woolies today, but I think I may use the flatter acid free tape

he loves it, keeps bugging me to make it up, but i wanna use the acid free tape. so I said if it doesnt come tomorrow, i will use the foam tape @rotfl:

I had a break from policy writing before xmas and did a lil mini project, but couldnt finish it till i got the fibre fill, which I get today. Here it is (Agi I kept thinking of you whilst making it as its called "Folk Hearts Pincushion" @rotfl:

Cute pincushion! That's the type I need to do--sewing can all be done on the outside without having to turn it right side out and sewing the closure. :D

That's a great pincushion, Lisa -- like BB I am all for things you can sew on the outside :-). It looks as though the seam is sewn about two blocks in from the fringing, is that right? And if so, how do you keep it from fraying further inward?

Mabel it is indeed frayed 2 blocks from the sides as per the instructions of the kit. I'm not sure of stopping it fraying. But I am ashamed to say I think it may be put in the drawer and forgotton about :oops:
