This has come on so well, especially with your finger!! I don't think I'd be prepared to let it stop me stitching, I'd learn how to do it with the second finger instead, or something!
Thankyou everyone for all your kind words and support. My finger looks wierd, all the skin is flaling off and new stuff underneath. I keeep stabbing myself in the cut (cause it is there ) But I have finally finished and framed my Street Scene. The model was framed in a short frame but I thought it made it look a little squished (see page one for the pic in the mag)so I used a ful 16 by 20 frame and didn't use a mat. I love the material and wanted lots to show. I also set the street closer to the bottom , I thought it would look strange centered and it is a good thing I did as I wouldn't have had enough material at the bottom to center it. Worked out well all the way around.
