Ok, you've all been so patient so here is the actual update With LOTS of pictures

Full picture - so hard to take a good picture of the whole thing. Especially the veil can be difficult to see sometimes


So here are some close ups.

A bit easier to see the veil, and bride's hair finally done, still some backstitching to do on the faces though.



The long awaited ribbons.I'm sorry you had to wait to long maggie, but I actually only decided the colour last week

And let's not forget the bridal bouquet, which still needs some backstitching.



I've made a start on the border, which is in DMC Light Effects. Have I ever told you how much I HATE Light effects? Well I do.

I should also mention that I've decided to leave out the bride's maid, so there is only (not quite the right word as they are all in metallics) the border and lettering left to do.

Wow!!! It's just absolutely gorgeous! As for the light effects, I too detest stitching with them--and vow never to again!! Can't wait to see the end result!! This is going to make a fantastic gift!
