Has she gone yet?!! :shifty:

Everything here is so beautiful - but I have a theory!!

Okay. Does anyone else think that Mabel either has (a) a stash of massive matches to use as props, or (b) she makes things really large and then sticks them in the machine on a 90 deg wash to shrink them?!!

You know I'm only joking Mabel - how I wish I could stitch like you!!

Such patience and skill has 'Our Mabel' :applesauce: :applesauce:

Wish she lived near me! She's such an inspiration! :sun: :sun:

Don't laugh! A friend's MIL does exactly that with her samplers to make them smaller!

But not our Mabel: she's the genuine article! :applesauce:

The puppy was very well received -- in fact it now lives propped up on a stand on my aunt's dressing table so she can see it first thing she wakes up, and it makes her "start the day with a smile", as she said :-)

Did a bit of stitching too while there, and finished one of the stained glass tulips -- the black is ordinary DMC, the colours are DMC floche. The fabric is 18ct white aida.
