It has, indeed, Mabel! I don't know where it came from - I just woke up on Wednesday and thought it was high time I tried it - LOL!

Anyway, I spotted a video tute for a crocheted flower and couldn't resist giving it a go, so here it is:

Now I'm going ot go back to stitching my four seasons band sampler bookmark!

As a quick experiment, I decided to crochet the two flowers together, just to see how I would do that. I thin kit worked quite well. :)

And then during the Eurovision Song Contest, I worked on my four seasons blackwork band sampler bookmark and made quite a bit of progress:

I love the bookmark! It's a great idea. I should do something like that, as I'm an avid reader (more than a stitcher even, LOL).

Beautiful work on your sampler :) Your doing well on crocheting, too. Reminds me that I should get out my hook again, too.

I crocheted a 3-layer flower this morning and I've started working on a hairband in triple crochet so that the flower (and perhaps a couple of single ones as well) can be attached to it - probably with buttons...

I did it! Finished not 5 minutes ago - one triple crochet hairband with three flowers (2 single layer and 1 triple layer). Am well chuffed with myself.

It looks really good! How is it "attached" to the head? (I ask because hair bands always seem to "peel off" my head :thinks: )
