I also have two other video game charts to make for her.

I just started this Mill Hill Christmas piece on Sunday night, and even though I didn't work on it at all last night after work, I've still got all but one color of the swirly tapestry part outside of the letters already done. I haven't started on the four squares for the letters yet, nor done any of the gold exterior border, but I should have this done by the end of the week.

I'll take a picture of where I'm at when I get home from work tonight!

He has three large and obstreperous cats and so references to this song crop up constantly in our conversations, so it was a pretty obvious choice once I realized it. I'd been saving that cat pattern for just such an occasion.

Here are my latest two birthday cards.

The first is for a teenage boy. Some may remember the card I did for his brother: the code that he could scan with his phone. So I told the older brother that I needed to find something awesome when his turn came . . .




The second one is for their mother, whose birthday is the same week. It's one of the quilt patterns I bought in Hawaii.
