wow you are all doing so well, I love seing the way using different shades of colour can make such a huge difference to the over all appearance, It must be great stitching it at the same time so you can compare the difference and spur each other on!

Well this is as far as I've got with the Ink circles.

Now you can clearly see how little fabric I have left at the bottom!

Thank goodness I used Aida!
I'll be able to stitch some extra on the lower edge for mounting, or I'll make it into a wall hanging using a contrasting fabric. I can decide that at the end of the project.

The colours are lovely, and you've made great progress! But I can see why panic set in when you got to the bottom... Contrasting fabric sounds like a good idea, though, it would work as a sort of mat or frame!

Anyway, I'm stubborn! I won't give up!! I had to find away round the problem!

It is really a wonderful piece. I can just imagine what it must have sounded like because I know what I would have said and it would not have been nice. I think it will be just fine to sew on some added fabric.
