Mabel: I'm sure that I've posted the pic somewhere in another thread but I can't be bothered to look for it so here it is again, and I plan on doing the frangapanis as a companion piece:

I am really enjoying stitching this one. Because it is the September school holidays here (2 weeks off) my dance classes aren't on in the evenings so I am getting a lot more stitching done especially as I am also doing in my lunch hour at work. I am about half way through the 4th flower down now.
Rose: I hadn't thought about putting a border around my snowpeople as there is not a lot of excess fabric (I bought a precut piece) but it is would be a nice idea if I only did 9 of them.... *goes off to see if I can find a nice snowflake border freebie*

Oh, those flower designs are soooo lovely! Love the colors!
....and also I would have to say that your idea of a snowflake border is really nice for the snowmen!

Hope you'll find the perfect design!

I am really enjoying stitching this one. It is going so quickly - just got to finish the top of the stamen and then the first flower is finished

I suprised at how quickly I am doing this as as there are a lot of colours in each flower - I have already used 8 different colours on just this one flower and where the colours 'merge' is kinda checkerboard so when doing the first colour the pattern is quite hard to read. I find that I have to dot the squares of the colour I'm doing with my highlighter or I tend to miss one or two stitches.
