When you're close to it you see fibres, unevennesses and mistakes that no-one else will ever notice
! But if it is noticeable from a distance, try winding some sticky tape around your finger sticky side out -- I like using the invisible tape, it's not so strongly sticky -- and dab all over the stitching, that'll pick up most of the fibred

Great progress, I love it

Re: HAED WIP Julie Fain's Fairy Sisters-Updated Feb. 19th
I will try that. I started with a lint roller and it was too sticky so I didn't use that. It isn't noticeable from a distance, but I can see it and it bugs me, so I would like to get rid of it if possible.Mabel Figworthy wrote:When you're close to it you see fibres, unevennesses and mistakes that no-one else will ever notice! Yes it's just on the dark colors. No one notices it but me, I guess because I am so close to it.~threadbear~ wrote:
Do you find it mostly on the black? On my dogs project all the black (so black browns/black blues as well I guess) have the fibers.![]()
I was thinking it was just with it being dark and is probably the same on all stitching but not so noticeable unless you have alot of dark parts.
Love your dogs project, by the way.

I finished page 12. There wasn't much to it, mostly 1 color. Here's a picture.
