This is so lovely and elegant. And I am so impressed that you cut the fabric after doing all the other work. I would be so scared and you did such a fantastic job. I can't wait to see what comes next if this is Part 1. WOW

It's finished!!!!!!!
The interior was really quick to stitch, seems such a waste of fabric! The only bit I hated was the Kreinik Japan thread that is used for the star and the rays on the candles. It was such a #@%&*# to work with, despite short threads and Thread Heaven. It is a thread that is covered with a metallic layer, so it is very difficult to run under other stiches on the back as it just comes apart! I muttered a few swear words whilst stitching that! On a more positive note, this piece has made me fall in love with Hardanger. I'm going to do some others, probably as a break during the next big piece that I do!
