Thanks!

C/F, I know exactly what you mean!

Anyway: It's lovely to be working on a fresh new page - and even better that I can do WHOLE ROWS of stitches in the same colour! I'm amazed how much faster I stitched today, and still had time to do reading! Here we go - almost all his cloak is done, just the edge trim and lining to do:

This looks wonderful!! I know what you mean about the bare appearance to the 3/4 stitches before the backstitch, but it really does work to complete the x's. (I've done 3 TW's, very labor intensive, but the finished results are so wonderful). I've never completed the backstitch as I went along, always did it at the end, but that might help make it feel less bare?

I  this one!

Yeah, I did toy with the idea of doing backstitching as I completed a page... but then was so keen to do the next page I didn't want to give time to it, lol! Besides, backstitch this complex needs exclusive attention! So I'm going to do it after completion of the body of the work. :D

It's looking good, very effective how you can see the folds in his cloak :applesauce:
Once the backstitch gets started on this one really will look fantastic! Rather you than me though...... I'm going to scuttle back to the nice single coloured, whole stitches of my HAED lol

Oh FD, I bet the gold is lovely. When I was doing my son's baptism piece I used to love seeing all the gold sparkling on there. :) Made me really enjoy stitching it.
I'm sure you'll love it.

Thats lovely :applesauce:

I love TW designs but I hate b stitch so it puts me off doing them. The Geisha Girl I'm working on at the moment has miles of it and loads of beads

Well done your stitching is lovely :D

More of page 3 - our storyeller has legs, a place to sit, and his lunch bag... and dragon has a bit of tail fluke. :D The :ribbit: visited, but was dealt with in short order!
