Well I stitched on my lighthouse for about 4 hours yesterday and then worked on part 2 of Serendipity today. I'm still rather slow but am enjoying the stitching.

On a side note I spent a couple hours yesterday morning working on quilt blocks for my DGS' train quilt.

Overall it has been a great couple of sewing days here.

I am so glad you could do some good stitching - I myself have very little time left now, about an hour in the evening - I made half a bookmark last night. The other half and finishing will be done tonight, I hope. :)

I am finally finding a bit more time to stitch..I am now devoting all my time and effort to 'Death and Binky' I find it too distracting to have 3 WIP on the go.. two will be enough

i'm stitching every day, usually several hours while i listen to tv. however, my house looks like a tornado has come through and unfortunately my dogs aren't any good at housekeeping. my large french shepherd does help me with orts though. he lays just on my left side and drop them all over his head and body. we had just gotten started in this picture! i'm mean though and try to drop them on his ears to watch them twitch.

Not me. I have just come home from the house-packing adventure. There are 5 big boxes left that I shoud unpack, sort, and pack into smaller boxes. And then cleaning. But I decided I want to go to my dancing lesson at 7 o'clock, so I left it at that. We are going on Suday and finish the whole thing in one go. 3-4 hours, I guess. Then it will be done. :x:

I brought home some chinese dinner, and now, after a quick browsing around here I will stitch for a while.

None today, but I did get some more done on my Kinkade last night. I'm hoping to do some stitching tonight after the kids are in bed. We spent all day at an outlet mall about 45 minutes from here looking for school clothes for my son and fall/winter clothes for my daughter. It's worth it when we find $10 jeans for my son.

Was supposed to be on a train headed to my parents for a few hours now, but I missed it (this is NOT an uncommon occurence  ), so I'm sitting down to an evening of stitching with no guilty strings attached since I spent the morning cleaning house in prep to head out for the weekend...will possibly also see if I can chart hebrew lettering for the Stitcher's Friendship exchange (if I'll have time to stitch it - not on the list yet, despise breaking commitments).

Did a little while making early morning tea this morning :-), and hopefully some more tonight -- this morning we had a baby dedication service at church, and this afternoon I've been working at a friend's website -- and doing some forum-ing... -- but this evening is stitching time!

I had a little time this afternoon before ironing hubby's shirts and so I've made a start on the chart Mabel lent me.
I know I wasn't going to start anything until the surprise sampler was finished, but well, I can't hold onto this one for too long, it wouldn't be fair to Mabel would it. :shifty:

Didn't do any over the weekend because I had errands to run on Saturday, a cake to make for FIL's birthday, and a double birthday party Saturday night (FIL and SIL's fiance). Sunday we were gone all day at a NASCAR race here in town. It was a nice day, but I missed watching the race at home because I can stitch. :D I'm not planning on doing much today--just giving the kids a quiet day at home--so hopefully I'll start stitching here soon.
