I've just read through all this thread and I just want to say how beautiful your HAED is. I just can't believe how fast your stitching this, it is incredible progress!

I'm really enjoying reading this and seeing your progress on her :)

Louise - any chance of an updated photo - your stitching inspired me to finally pick up this pattern - though I have too many WIP's - so I cannot start my HAED. Have to enjoy yours for now. :)

Photos coming soon, I promise! Just need to remember to bring the photo CD into work and be sneaky :shifty:
I was off work last week just staying in catching up on stuff and managed almost 3 large format pages instead of my usual one a week :D
I'm looking forward to getting a bit further down to where all the colours become more reddish -

If you look about 2/3 of the way down where the sheen on the pleats of her dress gets darker, I have I think another row of pages until I get there, will be good to get onto some different colours, and I'm definitely looking forward to doing that tiled floor :D
Watch this space!

All my photos are at the ready so here is the first update - 4 rows almost done, apart from those few stitches :) I'm afraid it looks a bit grainy here, thinking of 32ct for my next one instead :D

Next update follows shortly!

I think we need to have a race between you and Sarah to see who can stitch a HAED the fastest. This is coming along great.

Gorgeous! (By the way, if you think this looks grainy -- silly girl -- then I'd advise you never to stitch on 14ct again :-)! )

 4 ROWS!!! Your needles are on fire, aren't they? You'll probably complete 5 full size HAED's before I ever finish one! This is just gorgeous! Still one of my all time favorite designs by HAED! :applesauce: :applesauce:

*whispers* I've put the most up to date pic on the HAED board so you can see where I'm 'really' up to. I'm just going to keep this thread as the full story, as it were!

I might add in my defence they are 4 rows of large-format pages, about 4,500 stitches per page, whereas Sarah's I believe is regular format with a lot more on each!?

Yes, I was a cheapskate and order regular size rather than pay an extra couple of dollars for large! The small size is ok for me though - there are around 7500 stitches on each page of mine and 7 pages on each row.
