Your doing an amazing job!!!!!!!!!!!! Sorry that your work has cut into your time off.

No more pics just yet (they will come within a week once I've finished the next 2 pages currently sitting at 72% and 90% complete) but a couple of more milestones done:

- past the 75% complete (will pass 76% tonight )
- less than 30,000 stitches left (will be less than 29,000 after tonight's progress )

Another two pages complete!

I only have a pic of the finished pages because I have my qsnaps set up really well at the moment so I didn't want to take them off to get an all over shot.

Since my last post I have found out that instead of leaving at the end of this term (Sept 16) as I thought my teacher would, he actually flies out on the 1st! So I have been forced to declare defeat on the plan to get this finished before he leaves (to do 27,000 stitches in 27 days would have meant no work, no cleaning, no cooking and no sleep - I'd become insane! )

Progress:
- 94,649 stitches (26,891 to go)
- 77.87% complete
- 16 pages complete (8 to go)
- 154 columns complete (52 to half way, 258 to the end)

You have made amazing progress and whenever it gets done it will be the most wonderful gift you can give your teacher. Better late than never really is true in this case.
Now you can give yourself time to enjoy the stitching too.

Beautiful progress! Shame about the deadline, but whenever this gift is given it will be very well received and treasured forever by your teacher!!

What a shame you won't be able to give it to him in person but however it gets to him I am sure he will be amazed at your beautiful work.

Excellent progress, but what a shame that the deadline has shifted to make it impossible.

Are you going to be sending it to your teacher once they've moved?

This is amazing and I'm sure when he opens it he will be almost as disappointed as you that you will not be there in person. Perhaps you could ask him to open it whilst "skype ing" so you can see his re-action?
Please make sure you take some lovely photos of this masterpieve before you give it away.

Amazing progress.... What a bummer you won't be able to give it to him in person.. but maybe getting it after he's settled in would be best in the end.. that way he can truly have time to enjoy it rather than being rushed with the move

Such a pity he is leaving earlier than you planned for, but all the same I' sure he will be delighted with it when it finally gets to him - just make sure you have his correct address! Lovely work!

The plan is to give it to him unfinished (but with the edges tidied up and washed!) at the farewell performance the school is having on the 21st, take it back (which will be really weird!), finish it and then post it to him.

A little - There's the HAED sal and my Chatelaine that I started earlier in the year, and I also have 2 pages stitched on another HAED and am about half way through Country Threads "Wildflowers", all of which I intend to finish so I will probably go back to those although it is getting close to time to start my Christmas gift stitching....
