Postie brought me 13 Cross Stitcher mags which I got for postage only from a lady advertising in the latest issue -- some of them have even still got the free kits with them!

Bit worried coz I ordered some fabric from the craft company special offers last thursday but haven't had anything yet. Should I worry yet or not?

Well - I've been peeking at the Silkweavers site for awhile *Enabler alert*- they are currently offering 25% off odds and ends and solos - so what was I to do? Of course, I had to order 1,2, okay 3 items. Hoping to get them soon. Have a couple of other stash orders enroute from 2 other places.......DH is getting sick of me asking....did we get any packages? he has been getting home about 20 min before me....I lack patience (which is funny...considering stitching....which I can do for hours).

My postie has just delivered a kit I won on eBay on Tuesday. Super-fast delivery or what? £2.99 for a kit worth £15.99.
It might help shift my horrible cold (thankfully, not swine flu).

I have just got a note that there is a parcel waiting for me in the post office, but I can only pick it up tomorrow. It must be my order from Sew and so, with half of my stashmast gift, and someone else's 10000 post gift.

So I hope to send both of them tomorrow.

Yes, but it's non-stitchy. I lost my data transfer cable for my Sony MP3 player and I had to get a new one. I ordered it on Sunday and it came today - from Hong Kong supposedly but the envelope says London Heathrow. I can't function if I don't have my music with me and I had some new stuff to go on it.

nothing since I last posted
I contacted one seller who I am 101% sure posted the items and she has offered to post again if I dont recieve them but am going to give it another week cause I dont want to be out of pocket.
Another I haven't recieved I emailed almost 4 days ago now and haven't had a reply. This was one piece of lavander aida. I had bought from them before, a shop in UK, not ebay, but doubt I will again. If I lose out on this one, at least it wasn't alot but I am still hoping it will come.
Some others I expect this week since I bought them first week of November from USA and UK and one local one I purchased yesterday (I broke the stash buying ban

) but is something I wanted for a while although no imminent plans yet to do it and found it $15.00 cheaper than everywhere else although it did hit the top of the range of prices I will pay but been looking out for a while and no luck on any cheaper.

A Shepherds Bush kit that I bought from ebay (USA). Now to try and resist starting it till I've finished what I'm working on at the moment.

Yesterday, to my surprise, I recieved a late house warming card from my former neighbours. It wished me good luck in my new home, hoped that my mail was arriving safely and that I was settling in. Plus it also thanked me very much for the home made card, so I think they really liked it ^_^ Their card was sweet!

I got another of my packages. It was postmarked 31.10.2009 and arrived today..a mere 16 days. I could have flown to the UK and back at least 5 times in that time frame.
So, a few more to come.
Todays was marbled aida fabric. I am using coloured fabric to do my mini projects on and am loving it.

another two arrived today. I got 6 squares of coloured rustico aida which I have never seen before and simply love it. I also recieved a kit I bought, it is a russian doll from Lanarte, on evenweave. I have never cross stitched on evenweave before so when I eventually start it, I will be posting for lots of advice!
I think it will be a project for next year.
I also have now opened a paypal dispute for the lavender aida I got, a fairly large piece, including postage was 3.50 pounds so not a huge loss. I paid 15/10 and have emailed the seller a week ago and got no reply. It was not an ebay purchase, it was a shop in UK. I am a bit disappointed to be honest. I really wanted that fabric.

I can't get it here and so decided to get a fairly large bit as I only have a smallish piece left.
Now I am just waiting for 2 kits, one should come this week it is local, it is the australian native plant design and the other from Wales, a christmas kitty kit although after the cats behavious yesterday ( she got her tooth stuck in my friends finger

) I think she may just have to wait for next year to get it.

Two of my packages arrived - 3 kits, a simple pattern, and some Kreinik. DH only allowed me to have the small kit (bought to do for a friend as a Christmas gift) and the Kreinik - for my current WIP. Have to wait for Christmas to drool and play with the others. Now I'm just waiting on my fabbie pieces (but won't get to play with those until after Christmas too). **sits and pouts**

Yes! Three kits I won on eBay. No piccies cos I've not decided what to do with them yet (nudge, nudge). My daughter also got some stuff from eBay. She collects football memorabilia: autographs and programmes. I couldn't believe the postie got everything through the letterbox!

I've received my Sew and so order today, but there are things missing off it. I've never had anything missing off an order from them before!

I've emailed to ask them to send the things on. One of them's a thread I need for the sampler I'm doing for my SIL's birthday present, of course it's the main colour...

Yesterday he brought me Serinde's present, and also not stitching stash but cooking stash -- another lovely new pan

(has already been used last night to make noodle soup with chicken, mushrooms and broccoli)
