I got these last week but hadn't got round to posting the pictures.

These were off ebay. Just for me to practice hardanger with, from the easing into hardanger book.

I got these for appx £3.20 incl postage. 10 x #5 and 2 x #8.

and these are all # 5, £2.99 incl postage.

Oh, the postie was good to me today!! :D :D I received, totally unexpectedly, 16ct white and 18ct cream aida from Xandras!! I have never used 16ct before and know exactly what I'm going to use it for – and can't wait to try it!!

The 18ct couldn't be better for a chart I have … so I'm actually starting to wonder if she has bugged our house as both pieces are so perfect!! Thank you so much!!

Glad you could find a use for them Ali :) I don't really use aida anymore, apart from really small projects, so it's great that they have found a good home :)

Yesterday I received my subscription gift from CSC Mag - a lovely woodden box with a perspex lid and a bunch of threads inside. It's the same box I bought for myself a little while ago with Xmas money, but with different coloured threads this time (they include the ones you would need ot stitch the design that comes with the box and it's a different design this time). I'm not comlpaninig - it just means I have two lovely boxes and will now be dreaming up a design to put in the lid of the 2nd one too. Of course, I haven't finished stitching the design for the first one yet - LOL!

I just received three gorgeous threads, the most lovely pale lilac coloured aida and an absolutely beautiful thank you card from mags, for her biscornu. Thank you so much!! I really didn't expect anything and it was such a wonderful surprise – it also amused Mark to hear all the “ooh's” and “aah's” coming from the kitchen as I opened it!!

A wonderful gift from Melissa!! Thank you so much! Its funny you sent Caron threads, I was just looking over some online yesterday and thought I'll have to a wait a bit to order those!

It was just a wonderful surprise!! I'll post pics tomorrow

I+ ordered some projects for my niece (she is 3 months). Her room has a minnie/mickey theme so I got a bunch of small Disney patterns

Mickey
Minnie
Thumper
Dumbo
Piglet

I will probably make a set for our house too. We love all things Disney and thyey would be great to do to add a little something to each room!
