I've had a couple of very slow stitchy weeks. My mojo is partially compromised with anxiety over the big move to Germany, and excitement over my parents coming to visit next week, plus countless hours of gaming.

But I started the Cupcake pattern Janny very kindly sent me, that was on a Cross Stitch magazine from 2009.

Here's my start on it. One cupcake done! I'm working mine 2 x 1 on 14 ct Rose Fiddler's Cloth (you can't see the color in this picture, I'll try a better one next time, but it IS pink).

Great start on this!! I really like this project! I hope that things will settle down a bit for you. I know how edgy you must be anticipating your upcoming move!

That is really cute and very well done. Cameras have a mind of their own where colors are concerned. But it doesn't effect what a great start you have on this.
You have so much going on now that I'm not surprised stitching has slowed down a bit.
Have fun with your parents next week.

And here I am, finally picked up my needle and did a second cupcake to get my mojo going again. In this one you can actually see the color of the fabric.

Oh, and I also have a picture of the finished cushion I made with the Oakhaven Bird SAL from last year.

Tomorrow I hope to start on the second page of the QS Lovers, gotta get it printed out.
