Wow....you may have a way to go but what you have acheived looks stunning!
I hear ya on the 10 years front.....my superstitions chart is about the same size as this one....I think teeny baby steps are the order of the day with these BAPs....but take solace in the fact that there are a couple of HAEDs that are double the stitch count of Elementals.....so they would take 20 years!

20 years!

I think this one will take long enough. Not that I'm complaining ... I love working on it ... it's just that Big One will be in high school by the time I'm done and she hasn't even started Kindergarten yet! With that thought I think I really will

Congratulations on finishing another page. I just looked at the size of this one and then checked some of mine. I don't think I am working on any quite as big, though mine are big enough. I'm glad I've invested in minis also, since I have a chance of finishing them. Probably why I remind myself that it is the process I love even more than the finish. You are doing a magnificent job of stitching this one. Are you planning to keep going vertical or are you going to do the bottom rows first? Just curious. I am such a fuddy duddy that I just do the pages in order for the HAEDs. Its the OC in me I think.

I'm usually a bit OC on stitching things and would do everything in order (from the bottom up because I'm weird like that

) if it weren't for one thing. The bottom row of pages are only about 30 rows of stitches a piece and mostly black. I decided that I wanted to see some of the design, so I'm doing the bottom 2 rows of pages together (so what I have stitched is actually 2 pages high and wide).
I guess the real answer to your question is that I'm planning on doing the next page to the right.

You are doing so well with this one, it looks so beautiful

Wow, this looks so glorious! I love seeing the whole size of the piece too, really puts it in perspective

Just think of how much stitching fun you have left to look forward too

I think I'm now going to try just finishing off each color either until there are no more reachable stitches or until I use up the thread on the needle (if that makes sense). I don't know if I'll like that method any better, but I'll try.

This is actually the method I've always used - and still do to a point, seems to work pretty well for me, hopefully it'll help you out

Wow, that HAED is just massive. I'm sure it will look incredible when it's finished.

Love all of the detail in this design!
Ten years is a long time, but hopefully you can enjoy the wonderful journey you will have with this piece!

Wow, it's been a long time since I updated this! I've been working on it for a few weeks now and I've got another page finished. Granted, it's a really small page, but it's still a page!
So, here it is:
Sorry for the poor pic quality. It's hard to get good lighting in here when it's cloudy out.
And for the full scale view:
Now I have to decide if I want to do the next page in the row (another small page) for a quick page finish or the page above the one I just did.

Or, I could switch gears entirely and work on Fall Fairy for a while....
