Mrs Milkybar Kid wrote:WOW - this is looking amazing and I'm not normally one for animal charts! The picture of the piece on the stand makes it look more like an unfinished painting than a piece of stitching. Can't wait to see the finish on this one! Is that your TOS I can see in the background?
Yes, it is my ToS! I am neglecting it at the moment because I realised I have to get my tiger to the framer before he is inundated with Christmas orders! It's a Christmas present for my 8yr old grandson who is obsessed with cats of all sorts.

Everytime I see this one I am so amazed and how beautiful and magnificent it is. Your stand looks really good too and I would be proud of putting something like that together by myself too. (And what good eyes Mrs MBK has to see your TOS there too. I had to go back and check for myself.) Your grandson is one lucky child to be getting such a great present.

I can't get over how realistic the tiger looks- it's beautiful!
I love your floor stand too- I must admit after getting a severe case of sore wrist from holding my frame I think I need to get one also- one that holds Qsnaps so I'll check the Sew and So website and do a copy-copy hehe
Really looking forward to seeing your completed tiger

Thank you everyone!
Even though a little off-focus, I think this is the best pic I have taken of him so far.
Oh, and I've broken yet another needle! I only have 1 size 24 left, so will have to send for some more... and, um, while I'm at it, I may as well order some more threads for my Birds on a wire HAED stash yes? Such a waste of postage to only get needles!

Looks like you need to buy your needles in bulk!

He's eyes are mesmerizing. And yes, I think you should get more threads and fabric and maybe another pattern or two when you order your needles.

Every update makes him more magnificent than the one before. And your french knots are perfectly fine. And it would be a total waste to just order needles. No one just orders needles.
