Restitched the rose as the foundation stitches were even more visible than now, I think I was pulling the ribbon too tight. Despite my aversion to french knots the Pistils were quite easy.
Threads are : DMC #5 and #8 in white and 554
Dinky Dyes #5 81
Waterliles 95 for stranded cotton
Tracy that is gorgeous - lovely colours and I hadn't seen Presencia threads so must look them up.

Well Done Louise that is really gorgeous and I love the delicate thread roses you have done which then lead onto the central beauty.
Gorgeous October.
Tracy & I get our Cottage Garden threads from All Threads -
http://www.allthreads.com.au" target="_blank" target="_blank (I think) will go and check it out - yep thats right address for them. The perle threads Keryn orders in when she sends in her next order but she does stock all the 6 strand embroidery threads in the little shop. Its a fabulous Aladins Cave of threads and jam packed with them all.

Tracy, yours looks like a garden with beds of flowers inside a pattern of box hedges -- lovely! And I like the effect of the two-coloured pistil stitches.
Louise, that is just so, well, rosy! Don't all those subtle, delicate pinks work well together. Yur ribbon was Dinky Dyes Oops bag, wasn't it?

Heidi, absolutely stunning.

There is a real elegance to the color you picked also. I'm a month behind. Just finished August and starting September (have to post August) and thinking I might go straight into October as what I've seen is so lovely.

Lovely delicate colours, Heidi (gorgeous ribbon!) and great definition on your double woven bars!
