Yes, the postman brought me something nice from Kell.
She sent me some charts that she had saved out of a magazine,
autumn jar covers. They are really cute.
Fall is my favorite time of year.
I love the colors, the scents, falling leaves, cool air...everything about fall I love.

After days of no post due to snow, I had lots of lovely stash waiting for me at home yesterday. I got a big parcel from Katzxstitch (ebay seller) with another bundle of threads that I need for my SQ project. Think I just need 10 more then I'll have all 120 odd colours it needs
Also, got a lovely package of charts from Slinky - they're fantastic and many thanks for sending them out

A postcard to say my parcel was over the gate in the back garden!!
I ask you a six foot high gate and snow on the ground!
I had to put my boots back on, go around the back, unlock the other side gate and retrieve a waterlogged, bashed parcel from QVC.
So yes it would have been nice scrapbooking stash, but now it has to be returned!!
BTW it wasn't the postman - he's too sensible for that - it was a courier.

The guinea pig kit that I ordered in the sale at Stitcher. Looks like it will be fun to do. I'll post a pic when I start it.

I received a new DVD yesterday that I'd ordered - Midnight Express from the 80s. I used to have it on an old VHS tape and don't know what happened to it. I'm in the process of collecting a lot of old films I used to love.
I'm hoping my order from Sew & So will have arrived today when I get home - the tiger kit and a piece of Lugana for my next HAED. I've also just ordered a pack of 15 threads and another DVD (Shining Through) so lots of goodies on their way to me!

My "little woman" DVD came today and I watched it tonight and got all teary cause I feel a bit run down, lack of sleep, sick cat..nothing drastic but feel very fragile so it was good to get.
I also broke my new years resolution of "do not buy stash except magazines" and bought another kit

It is a Margeret SHerry cat hanging in a tree, it was on sale and I got money for my birthday so I think that actually, I haven't really broken the new years resolution.

A couple of things that might help if you're worried about everything coming out, Lisa: 1) make sure you really grease the pan well (I use crisco) 2) I usually bake my cakes 25 degrees F lower than what the directions on the box say (calls for 350, I bake at 325).

As I hoped, I got home to find my package had arrived from Sew & So with the tiger kit and a piece of Lugana in it. We must have a new postman - they left it leaning against my door in the damp! Luckily it didn't come to any harm and Sew & So always pack each item in a plastic snap bag inside the envelope anyway.
My usual postie, a young lady, normal puts packages in my cardboard and plastic recycling bin and sticks a note through my door to say it's there. Maybe she's on holiday or something - hope she's soon back!

i have had no mail, not even a bill. I only have one piece of stash coming, the margaret sherry kitty hanging on a tree.
I have been trawling ebay because it's just not right to have no stash coming but I made the new years resolution so I really should keep it.
