These are such pretty designs  and so beautifully stitched. I must admit, I'm also a member of your ironing (and any other housework for that matter) club!! What's the point when there are children around? At least you've got something to show for your stitching!

Wow, you've done so well with these! Your stitching is beautifully regular, great work!

(can I mention one tiny little thing, just for when you do them as cut versions? On your dove's eyes, when you make the final loop don't forget to take the needle underneath the first bit of the dove's eye, so all the loops are identical)

Thank you Mabel - you have such beady eyes, it's a bit scary having the designer look at your work (but also very helpful :)) ! I've been having a practice with the cutting, I do wonder how I will manage on 25ct on Round the World, but being an evenweave may make it simpler (but probably not!!). Practice gets us closer to perfection........

:applesauce: :applesauce: Well done they are beautiful. I've just done my first hardanger piece, and did the cutting today. It wasn't anywhere near as scary as I thought it would be! (Mine is 25 count linen.)

Thank you for all your encouraging words on the Hardanger - Mabel is a genius though, her charts are awesome to follow for a beginner like me!

Well it is official - I have the concentration span of a gnat! Instead of getting on with Believe I decided to start something that I could stitch lounging on the sofa with my hoop. I don't know why this one spoke to me, maybe because it only had 9 colours :D :

It is by Helga Mandl taken from September 2010 GOSM, stitched on 28ct Natural Cashel linen (though DH though I was stitching on hessian!). Who knows what I'll be working on next........I don't!!??

@rotfl: I so hear you about concentration (or lack thereof) and never knowing what will be next! I love it! It's a hobby! Wheee! Maybe it's because my career calls for diligent, dogged pursuit. Little Red is very cute! Can't wait to see what you do next!

:applesauce: Love Little Red and you deserve some time stitching with a hoop on the sofa and doing something that is just plain fun. And this must have been. It is so cute. What other cute little surprises are you planning?
