I started when I was 14 years old. My mom always stitch so she bought me santa stitch kit . It was fun and I was stuck. And during my high school year I toke a paus because of my dad wanted to do housework and i didnt had any time. so during my 3 years i only done housework, study when i must sleep and i got 1 hour sleep every school day for 3 years but when I moved out from that hell house. I toke it up again and meet my prince. and he said always do some stitching and that is what i do
I started when I was pregnant with my first daughter. My enormous belly made a perfect 'table' for holding my threads. My first project was a pillow for her nursery. I did birth samplers for both of my girls, and wedding samplers when they married. In between I did lots of projects like experimenting with waste canvas to give them unique tee and sweatshirts. I cross stitched Christmas stockings for all of us. I made toothfairy pillows for them. All of these things have evolved into family traditions.

I have only really started recently (in the last couple of months), but my first ever cross stitch was when I was a child, and my grandparents bought me a kid-friendly cross stitch starter kit.
I've always been really interested in crafts. My grandmother taught me how to knit when I was 6 years old. I learned how to spin yarn when I was 19, and how to crochet when I was 22. Cross stitching filled a niche in my skills that I had been lacking, and I find it so interesting! I love how I can apply the embroidery skills I learn through this craft to my other hobbies.
I started my first year in school! From then on I did tiny pieces. In 2007 I was hospitalized for a lengthy period and started some bigger projects. I then picked back up 4 years ago and I’ve been hooked ever since!
