Totally agree. So much detail there.

I've decided weekly updates will keep me motivated. Working on the skirt is going fairly quickly because there are a lot of sections of the same color and not much confetti. Hard to see because it is mostly very pale colors, but I know the next sections will be more challenging so I'm enjoying this right now!

I find posting weekly updates helpful too. Some weeks I feel like nothing was accomplished, but when I look at the before/after photos I see a big difference. And then, of course, other weeks I spent to much time with a

Made a fair amount of progress this past week, not much the week before. Will definitely take a few more weeks (months?) to finish this page and then will work on the Star Wars Afghan probably or a different HAED (depends how hot our summer will be).

Instead of "fair amount of stitching" I would put a really good update with lots stitched already. Your needle must have been red hot.

I probably should have taken it out of the hoop, but I'll be moving the hoop soon since I'm almost finished with this page and only have 1 more page + a column to complete this row. Still I managed to do a fair amount of stitching this week between having an exterminator in to solve the "carpenter ant" problem ( solved I think, because they are awful and climb into Miss Rosey's water bowl ) and some goings on with one of my streaming services (which had to be attended to since two of my favorite mystery shows are on Acorn TV and have new episodes coming: Midsomer Murders and Brokenwood) All is resolved.)

And I Midsomer Murders and Brokenwood ! (Though usually as a guilty pleasure when DH is away - which in lockdown has not been very often....)

Another picture of great progress being made with this interesting design. Well Done.

Page 16 finished and only one more whole page + one page with only one column to complete the full row of the design. That will leave me with one whole row of pages and partial pages. The only HAEDs I have finished up to now have been mini versions and I think there is hope for this one.
