The felt was ready made and everything was included in the free kit that came with the issue.

And thanks! The owl is a new tray that I got at JoAnn's yesterday.It was just too cute.

Thanks for the info--love that felt and sorry that it's not something I can buy at JoAnn's, but it does at least give me a good idea to use something like that in the future, and I am amazed you found that owl tray at JoAnn's --it's a real 'hoot'--pun intended :lol:

I'm not a huge Johhny Depp fan but... my friend at work saw him in the Asda in St Austell a couple of weeks ago. He was staying near by while filming and was in there buying beer. Apparently he was with a very big, burly minder. She said she has been finding lots of things to buy in Asda just in case!

Finally got around to finishing Jack Sparrow. Life has been crazy so I have not had much time for stitching. Things settled down this evening though and I managed to finish him up.
