Here are my first attempts at making cards. Luckily for me, my mom is into papercrafting and makes cards so she had various adhesives for me to try for my projects.
I'm fortunate in that friends and friends of friends are sending me kits they no longer want. Unfortunately, some of them originally came with magazines and I was not given the chart. The flower here is an example. Luckily, it was easy enough to replicate off of the final picture. I have received some where I won't be able to do it without a chart.
The sheep card kit came with the chart.

I have a mini finish to share...it is Lizzie Kate's Prayer stitched for my father-in-law for his upcoming birthday in June....need to get this framed but I'm pleased with how it has turned out.
I used Caron wildflowers in flagstone for prayer, dmc 3721 for the two red motifs and dinky dyes silks in dark chocolate and Pindi.

Finished another Celtic Knot bookmark, from the same set as the one I posted last week.
This one is for my dad for Father's Day. Green is his favorite color, just like me.
I started this today, thinking I would get it going and then put it aside to work on my thesis. I kept telling myself "30 more minutes and then I'll work on my thesis" every 30 minutes until I stitched the last row.
Good thing it's a 3 day weekend!

So no this is not a mini but it is one that I had stitched a few years back for an entirely different project. That project is no more but I could not bin the finish. So this year it is going to be a birthday gift for a very dear friend. I made it into a welcome banner. I like how it came out very much.
