Well I have finished 5 (of 10) cream teddys now:
And I decided that I would finish these with a flat fold tied to the front of the invite(that way the people receiving the invites can keep the cross stitch and not have to keep the invite) so on Sunday I made up the flat folds (to the point where the stitching is added)

The cards I have for the invites are a pearlescent gold so I thought the green fabric with gold stars tied everything together really well.

Well I now have 8 of the 10 teddies stitched and made up into invites.
The finished flat fold

The finished invite (note I've blurred out my details)

Hopefully I will get the next one finished today (the 10th one is for me to keep) as I am going to hand out most of them tonight at tap.

Well its been a while since I posted an update so here's a catchup...
I had the afternoon tea on Sunday afternoon that I stitched invites for (and everyone

their invites) and it went really well. Everyone had a lovely time and I received some lovely gifts (even though that wasn't expected). I also managed to start/finish a project that I wanted to hang on my front door.
Dimensions "Sweetness of Home":

I decided to leave out the scattered yellow stitches and the french knots on the teapot (45 blue french knots!!!) as I thought they were a bit over the top.
Dimensions "Santa's Watching":

This is the one I am now working on. I started it when I went down to Melbourne, but put it aside to do the one above.
I seem to have a thing for banners at the moment

as I have just purchased this as a companion piece to "Sweetness of Home"
Dimesions "My Kitchen Welcome"

Wonderful news, so happy everyone had such a wonderful time.
The Welcome sign turned out super!!!!! And Santa is looking good. The kitchen sign will be a great addition to our Welcome banner.
