I'm glad you got it, April! It took a ridiculous long time for me to send it and for the postman to bring it to you, so I hope you really love these magazines. Sorry again for having you wait so long

This morning I got a lovely surprise from Ana Luisa - some beautiful DMC flosses in various shades of green (my favourite colour!) and a gorgeous length of bright red aida band with metallic gold edging - enough to make at least 3 bookmarks. I am SO looking forward to using them! I might have to create a special blackwork design for the aida band.

  Postman just brought my first HAED cross stitch chart. Lady of the Woods---only 89 colors of threads and 18 full pages of chart and 6 pages with a wee bit on them--these are the smaller print version, and I likely will be enlarging them so I can see them better. Now all I need is to get the fabric that I ordered and to get the threads assembled

Dimensions Passion Flower Angel
Tempting Tangles Welcome SAL

Not the postman but thought I would share with you how lucky I have been :D :D

I went to my local craft store today and spent less than £2, when I paid the lady at the till who I have seen many times pulled out a bag of charts and asked me if I would like them. I asked how much she wanted for them and she said nothing, so I gratefully accepted.

When I got home I went through them there are 19 charts with colour keys (but no coloured photos of the finished items).   They are mostly DMC, and I guess some may be discontinued.

The latest issue of New Stitches... and what do i find? In the 'From the Studio' section, a letter from our own dear Mabel Figworthy, masquerading under her 'real' name. :applesauce: :applesauce: :applesauce:
