I really admire this and look forward to seeing it complete and made up, are you framing it or do you have other plans for it?

So beautiful. This one has been amazing to watch progress. And I agree that if you don't make you April finish goal, that just means you get to work on it a bit longer and we get to see more lovely pictures.

It will be framed, though I doubt my bank balance will like it much! I knew that when I started it there would be no point in stitching it only to have it languishing in a drawer somewhere. With Chatelaines as well as the cost of materials I think you have to take into account the cost of the framing too! I have another that I have already started (only stitched on for 5 days at the start of the year) and another 3 in the "planning" stages - so I guess I should start a framing fund along with my stash allowance

!

Another week's stitching on CGM:

Just the 3 phoenix and beading to go - so glad I do not have to stitch another vase or more bamboo! I may stitch a little bit on Bookend Kitties for a few days now that page 2 is out before I tackle the phoenix.......

It's looking gorgeous. I'm sure you'll find Bookend Kitties quite relaxing after working on this one! I agree with you about the framing fund. I was considering starting one up for my New York project, due to it's size!
