Thanks all for your encouragement :) I'm back at work today and have spent the whole morning covering someone else's job - and daydreaming about being at home working on this instead! I've only got 200 stitches left until the end of the row so the next update picture should be when I've finished those, which will hopefully be tonight or tomorrow :)

This is one of my absolute favourite SALs. It's wonderful to see it developing. And you certainly have stitched up a storm of late! :applesauce: :applesauce: :applesauce:

Oh my goodness! I have never seen a project so beautiful and time consuming! I am assured that it will be well worth it once finished. Your progress is great! I wish I had the sheer will to even start a project like this!

Good luck! I will be watching for updates. :)

Jen, thank you for reminding me why I spent the morning charging my camera battery!

Update, now at 18,140 stitches! (That's 10.7%)

I have to say, if I'd realised how much time and effort this was going to take when I started it, I'm not sure I would've done it. I'm glad I did start, I love it (and hate it at the same time sometimes!) but it's only because of my lack of experience at the time that I did!

I know it must be really hard going at times - but this will be so worth it when it's completed. A real heirloom in the making. It's great to see it all starting to take shape now too. You can really get a feel for how it's going to look. Well done :applesauce: :applesauce: :applesauce: :applesauce:

Hehe! :D

It is looking amazing! 18,000 stitches is way to many for me! I usually stick to less than 10,000!!

I cannot wait to see the next update!
