When I started this thread, my very first posted project was one of the six (6) butterflies in a series with scientific names...remember? I hope someone among you can recall about it...but you can always see the first page for reference...
Anyway, I've got back to it...and finished the 4th one!
This one's the Eyemark Butterfly...scientifically called " Mesosemia Loruhama". It's named due to the prominent ocelli (circular figures in black) located in the discal cell of it's forewings. It's commonly found in the neotropical regions of Columbia, Ecuador, Peru and Bolivia.
Here it is...!
Hope you all like it!

...and I'm currently doing another series of butterflies...
This one has 4 butterflies...all in the same pattern design but with different color shades - the first one's done in pink shades!
I'm halfway done with it...here it is!

The eyemark butterfly is lovely, I really like the circular shape of the design -- as for your other butterfly, well, I'm a sucker for monochrome designs, this is going to look wonderful!
*wonders whether monochrome is the right word for having ony one colour but in more than one shade*

Yeah, I've seen that one and saved it!

It's beautiful! Thanks, mags
...and mabel..I'm not sure also...but I think it's also called monochrome. I'll call the design "monochrome butterflies" if it's right.
Thanks for all the lovely comments!

It is beautiful and is hanging from the knob of the top drawer on my craft drawers in my bedroom where I can see it all the time.

When I opened up the package, it put a BIG grin on my face for the rest of the day.
