Unfortunately not much more progress has been made as my new job has meant very little time for anything else, but i have made a start on the second row. It is the christmas holidays now so hopefully i can get lots done.

Oh it's good to see this one again, good progress too! Like you say, the Christmas holidays should mean a lot of stitching time for you now too!
