This is a lovley design, I like Teresa Wentzlers work a lot. I also have the TW dragon needlecase to stitch in the future.

threadbear41 wrote:Hi. I have only just joined the forum and homed in on this thread because I have only just opened ny kit of The Storyteller (mine is an original Leisure Arts production, not the later Janlynn offering of the same kit), to find five bundles of silks but no floss card listing telling me what colours I should have and how many strands of each! As I have already before spend gargantuan amounts of time trying - not always successfully - to sort similar unidentified bundles from other kits, I'm hoping someone on this forum who has already started this kit (or at least opened and studied the package) can tell me there really is a floss card list and might be able to photocopy theirs for me (all expenses refunded of course). My fingers are crossed!
If this is a TW design I would think that you could contact them directly explain the same as you have told us and MAYBE

they would send you the information that you are looking for. Most companies are very good at answering questions that come to them directly.

Thank you, Rose. I did email leisure Arts and they did reply promptly, but to say that all the files, etc. went to Janlynn when LA sold the kit business to janlynn. I have emailed Janlynn now and am waiting for their response. However, I won't be too hopeful, as I know from another TW kit that went from LA to Janlynn that the latter changed the way the flosses were bundled after they took over and relaunched. So they may be able to tell me how the flosses were bundled the janlynn way, but that may not be the same as the leisure Arts way! That's why I am hoping to find someone here who has a LA version of the kit (or has already stitched it) with the appropriate floss bundle breakdown.

Ok, I'm back in action!
Because I couldn't stitch for so long, dur to my magnifier lamp being bust (now mended, hurrah!), I have done a couple of very little 14ct projects, just to get my hand and eye in again. Here they are:
Not very impressive! However, I am all set up, now, to get cracking on The Storyteller again. Can't wait!
Can't believe it's almost a year since I last did any stitching!

This is the current state of the project:
