Congrats on your finish :) :applesauce:

It's really lovely, especially all the pretty purpleness of it. And I'm in awe of anyone who can complete a HAED.

That Chinese Garden mandala looks amazing. I really can't wait to see you start on that one.

:applesauce: :applesauce: Congrats on finishing Believe, Amanda. It looks lovely and you stitched that really quickly, especially as you have been doing other things as well!

Your next project is beautiful. I am desperatey steering clear of the Chatelaine website, as my "to do" pile is already huge!

:applesauce: Beautiful finish! What are you going to do with it now? (just curious :) )

I love the Chinese Garden Mandala! If it ever gets released as a full chart (ie, not part of her class) it'll be on my wish list.

Believe WILL be framed - just debating on whether to do it myself (read - get my sister to do it via eframe as she has done this for her own work before!) or take it to the professionals.

Chinese Garden finishes in March 2012 and the pdfs come out sooner than I thought after a "class" has finished (they are not really classes at all!) as Hummingbird finished in July and you can get the pdf from ECC now. It is good having the charts released a bit at a time though as you don't feel quite so overwhelmed. Butterfly Lace Mandala is released as a whole chart - so I am sure the Adobe snapshot tool will be getting a good workout on that one!

I can't wait to see Believe framed! It'll look even more wonderful! (if that's even possible)

I actually don't mind the chart being released in parts. It's Yahoo groups that I dislike. Well, that and I've had issues with paypal in the past (they wouldn't let me set up an account attached to my credit card saying that my address doesn't exist  ). I'll just have to wait patiently and live vicariously through watching yours :D .

Edited to add: Can I blame you for the fact that I've now downloaded one of the Chatelaine freebies? ... and check and found out that I already own about half the colors needed ... and now I have to find a suitable fabric so I can start it....

TBH the Chatelaine Yahoo groups are not the chatty kind at all - there are 193 members of the CGM group and only149 posts since the group began, most of which are Martina, that suits me fine!

So which freebie are you going to stitch.......I want to know now! I think my favourite one is Springtime Roses, I really must get around to doing something with my finished piece!

I downloaded Autumn 2011. I want to start it, but I don't think I have any suitable fabric. I may just have to go to my LNS soon.... :D I like Springtime Roses too, may have to grab that on as well. At this rate, I'll never finish anything!

LOL that sounds familiar! Autumn 2011 is very nice--would go very well with earth goddess that I'm working on. The free designs are great!! Springtime Roses is one I hope to do down the line sometime and I'm currently working on the Christmas Tree Mandala one

Funny, I was thinking how Autumn 2011 would look nice with Fall Fairy! Christmas Tree Mandala was also one I was looking at. My three favorites have now been named. Great minds think a like and all that. :D

Indeed they do mechie! So far I'm enjoying doing the Christmas Tree mini--it's not quite as daunting as I thought it would be
