It's finished - hurrah! A total of 7.25 hours stitching time (inclusive of an attack from la grenouille). I really hope she likes it! It's all ready to send off as soon as the payment is through - hopefully tomorrow!
First pic is the whole thing. Second pic is a close-up of my little sigil on its first outing.
Well Kell I have just been through this thread from the beginning what an amazing array of work you have done and well done on all the other successes . I feel exhausted just looking how do you find the time for it all
I'm a bit of a midnight stitcher, Minij. I work 3 evenings a week, but when I get home about 10.45pm, I can't resist putting in a few stitches most nights. And when I'm not working, we sit and watch US crime dramas and movies while I stitch away quite happily (after Xan's gone to bed, of course). Xan also likes to "help" me with my stitching and often asks me to get a piece out so he can sit on my knee and pull th eneedle through or me. he loves it!

Oh yes - we're BIG CM fans in our house. Anxiously awaiting season 7...
Disaster! I posted out the samlper this morning and just as I came through the door I got a panicked message from my chum saying she'd mis-spelled the groom's name - it's spelled DAFYDD! So now I have to stitch it from scratch (if she'd got in touch even half an hour earlier, I could ave just unpicked the name and restitched it, then posted it this afternoon). Unfortunately, I have no more of that fabric. Fortuntely, she likes the sound of the sunny golden-yellow evenweave I DO have. And fortunately I'm not working tonight or tomorrow night. Cue much frantic stitching... and here was me looking forward to stitchign my OWN stuff this evening - LOL!
I've started again. This time 2 strands of black over two threads on 28-count evenweave in a pretty golden-yellow colour.
The first picture shows 1 hour of work, the second picture shows where I'm up to after 2 hours. I hope to get in at least another 3 hours of stithing this evening...
A monstrous toad came and sat on my project during hour 5, so I had to unpick everything I had stitched in the past half hour and then restitch it. Anyway, here's hours 3, 4 and 5 progress. I shall pick up agani tomorrow night and wil lfinish it. Im' wondering if I can beat the tmie I took for the first version...
