Haven't quite decided on that yet; they are very fine indeed so I want to handle them as little as possible. I may just wrap them in tissue paper as they are. Or i may very carefully wind them on fairly wide wooden spools, the only problem being that I have only one of those spools

The millennium frame is fabulous and did help with speeding up my stitching time for sure. And they are lovely to use, I’m sure I’ll be adding to sizes when I need them.
Mabel, I didn’t notice the frame they have, but I will look into this next year when they release it. If the frame is anything to go by, the quality is lovely.
And wendywombat, the tension is superb across the piece so I’m happy with that

. And I may think about phoning my order next time too. They were really great over the phone.

I wasn't sure whether to put this here or in the SAL thread, but look what I just picked up from our local framer's! Somehow it seems rather appropriate to pick up a Tree of Life today.

The framing of your beautiful embroidery is perfect, and the message is indeed timely.

Love a beautiful book, especially one you can learn from. Lovely idea.

Nice book, Mabel.
Today my new Jam Pan arrived. My previous one is still in France and I need one so I can make Marmalade. I couldn't get the correct bitter oranges in France so haven't made any for years.
OK it's not stitching, but it is a craft!

If you are intent upon marmalade making, then that means you are definitely going to be staying!

I have received 2 metres (1.5m wide) of Zweighart Aida 14 ct in Christmas presents.

My friends know that there is no such thing as too much fabric.
