Sorry to hear about the symbols problems, but its looking great all the same! Well done!

imo I think the middle snowflakes fit the design, it may end up looking abit too crowded with borders around each snowman, maybe?

Well I took another break from my HAED to stitch another snowman (well a snowlady in this case) - 8 down and 1 left now!

I was a bit worried that I would have trouble reading the pattern (I had printed out the pdf in reverse/mirrored so that I could keep the pattern going) so all the symbols were backwards along with the numbers.

For some reason the orange has come out really bright in the photos in real life it matches the witch in the piccie below.
For the in between borders I just plan on doing a wavy dashed line of backstitch something like below (It doesn't show clearly but I would do the backstitch in the same blue as I used on the outside border):

That is so fantastic!!!!!!

I love it. .

Your going to go with the indian. I was really hoping for the cowboy. Really either is going to look amazing.

Well I guess my snowpeople are safe from being stolen overseas then if there isn't a cowboy

(although I will still have to fight off my mum!)
Yeah I decided to go with the Indian for a few reasons.
- Felt that the blue of the indian would look better with the whole design than the reds and browns of the cowboy
- Carried on the pattern along the diagonal of not having black buttons down the front
- Chickened out with having to deal with the fringing along the bottom of the cowboys vest.

The wavy lines make the border and snowflakes perfect!

The wavy line is a good idea, and your "pre-picture" of the whole project looks great fun (but undoubtedly not as much as it does in real life!)

Oh this is fantastic, and I love the border and everything too. I am sorry I seem to have missed this thread lately.
I also love your flower projects

My HAED is on hold for this weekend - the snowpeople are calling for a final finish!
The goal is to finish the snowpeople by the end of the weekend (will help that Monday is Australia Day - public holiday

). I think that it is acheiveable as I got 9 of the 12 wavy lines done today in the 1.5 hr wait for my 6 month checkup after the day surgery I had last year (everything appears clear!

) so I only have the indian snowman and the other 3 wavy lines (which I hope to get done tonight around the cleaning for my brother moving in!) to go. So watch this space for piccies!

I am glad your results are good.
Waiting for the piccies with the others. Can we have carrot sticks to chew while waiting? (No chocolate for me

)
