Haha, fancy having all those dreams about Queenie!

I must confess I have dreamed about stitching. I can't remember the exact dreams but there have been times when I have woken up in the morning absolutely desperate to start doing some stitching because I was dreaming I'd done some!

Back from my week off - although we were out & about quite a bit for the first half and then I was under the weather the last couple of days, I still managed a couple of pages :) Here's the next update pic...

Although it's a whole page on from the last one, the scale of it's so big now that it probably doesn't look much different..! :(

Sorry to hear you've been a bit under the weather though.

Well, you get another picture in return for the lovely comments and encouragement!!

Halloween was quite eventful for my stitching for a couple of reasons..... I stayed up reeeaally late on Friday night as I'd just completed another row of pages, meaning that the next row was the final row of full pages! There's also another row of partial pages under that, but once I looked at them again they looked much less than I'd been thinking (they're about 20% of a full page) so I decided I'm working on the two together, the full page and the part page beneath it, making it in effect only one row left to do, and I stayed up late to reach the very bottom of the design!!!! :D :D
So I can see just how big she'll really be now, and can trim off the bottom edge of the fabric (is it called a selve edge or something like that?) which will then need overstitching to match the rest of the design. No, I haven't thought about framing, would be doing it myself, not sure whether to try a canvas-type thing (I don't really want it covered by glass as I can't help but think it makes the stitching harder to see and it must lose some of its texture...? hmmmm.

The other creepy Halloween thing that happened was my Daylight bulb went (I'd had it since New Year, so it's lasted a fair while) - well, it kind of fizzled and crackled and then went!! So I'm going to try a regular bulb just to see if the fitting still works before getting a new Daylight bulb, otherwise might have to look for a new lamp......
