Small update tonight since hubby has been loitering around the house too much lately.

The next large bit will be all black, though, so it'll go quickly. Not much left to go at all now!

He's off to go to an NHL game tonight so he'll be out of the house for at least four hours!

I'll get a bunch of the black done then. Hee hee. Almost makes up for the fact that I was supposed to go to the game, too. Grumble stupid bed rest grumble.

So sorry you are on bed rest and not able to go to the hockey game with hubby, but it DOES mean some nice quality stitching time on this

That is exactly what I thought when I read Carolyn's post! Especially love the term 'loitering' - had to hold my laugh in on that one...would have been hard to explain to OH.

Yay, our NHL team won last night and I got a lot of black stitched.

Only about 800 stitches to go until it's finished!

I have a friend on call waiting for the bat signal to come by our house to "visit"...she's going to sneak away the finished piece and take it to the framer's for me.

So close. This is going to be wonderful. And a very clever plot to get it framed in secret. Don't forget to post both a pic of the final stitching and when it is framed.
