Oh, I remember seeing that book in the bookstores in England. It looked fantastic, hope you will enjoy it. :)

Spent some more money in the Polstitches sale on New Years Eve, got a grab bag with dragonfloss and a large fabc grab bag (all pieces 11 x11 at least). Finally picked them up at MILs today. really pleased with the `dragonfloss as all the ones in the grab bag are ones I don't have, and I got 5 lovely pieces of fabric (4 evenweave, 1 aida)

Mmmm, dragon floss is LOVELY to stitch with.

Well nothing stitchy, but I did get a cook book I've wanted for ages now and two books with Cd's for Joe for lessons.
I'm well pleased with Joe's books. I got them free from a company because they sent an order to me that was nothing to do with me and because I went to a bit a trouble to get it back to them (they didn't even know I had them) they said I could have some freebies! Wasn't that kind. :D

Worth £20 rrp as well.

Yes I placed an order with 123 Stitch on Mondayand today I got the order. I still have not seen anything to replace the fabric that Silkweavers sent by mistake I am really getting unhappy.

So here are a few pictures, all of these except 1 were on sale!!!! :D some for Christmas. I want to make the village picture for myself for this Christmas. If I can find the time.
Image

Then a few of my friends are going to be grandma's this year so I want to have a few patterns and make some baby gifts.
Image

And of course I can't make an order and not get a few more Snowmen. These were just to cute to pass up.
Image

No picture as it will not come out but I also got a piece of 14ct opalesent white fabric for next years Christmas cards.

My postman better be worried that I'll pop out of the bushes like a ninja. I'm impatient and want the hand dyed fabrics I ordered on ebay. They were quite cheap as well, but a friend has had loads of fun with hers.

I forgot to say that when I got home from working Saturday there was a very nice surprise in the box. Some charts that Emilou87 sent to me. She was having a clear out. I had forgotten that I asked for them. What a sweet surprise.

I've had some nice stash arrive this week, some Caron threads from 123stitch, a nice bit of 32 count of linen from ebay and some lovely hand dyed cotton threads from a new site http://youthfulhandsneedlecrafts.com/ who has excellent items and service

Image
Couldn't get photobucket to cooperate, so if you click on the thumbnail picture it will load up the larger one
Can hardly wait to use the threads, the Caron threads will be used for one of Mabel's hardanger designs and the other threads are going to be fun to experiment with

Carrie's threads are lovely to work with; which shade of Caron did you get, is it Midnight Sky?

The Caron thread is tanzanite--just waiting now for my 25 count lugana fabric to arrive, then I can start on your beautiful design. I also did get the white seed beads.
Can't wait to try out all my new stash, but in the meantime, I'm finishing up on my mario sampler
