LOL good thought there, but I really do hope you are able to get the needed supplies soon!!Just to let you all know I recieved a pattern from my ex actually and it's from Mirabilia "Mermaids of the Deep" I am very excited... then I realized I have to buy EVERYTHING before I start it... It think there should be a rule/law if you're going to buy someone a project you must buy everything for it... just my opinion!

The only problem with someone buying ALL the stuff for you is it takes away the fun of stash shopping....

Also, if we insisted on that rule, there might be far fewer presents....karen4bells wrote:LOL good thought there, but I really do hope you are able to get the needed supplies soon!!I realized I have to buy EVERYTHING before I start it... Re: Cherubs: 4/6/2011 Update!
Oookay here is a long over due update on my first cherub. I had to take time away for all the exchanges I was involved in and not all were stitchy but even baking which is always fun especially when I have to keep sending out batches because they never make it to their destinations lol. So here is my prgress so far.

Unfortunately I will be taking a break from stitching this and my enchanress after Friday because I was voluntered without being asked by my boyfriend to stitch a project for one of his friends that is leaving and luckily it is a Nora Corbet/Mirabilia design so I am okay with that and my boyfriend bought all the materials I needed from 123stitch and it should arrive by Friday so I am happy for that at least.

That is very true Mabel, so maybe it should be put into the stitchy law that if one is going to buy a pattern for someone, they should also buy a couple items for the project i.e. thread, beads, fabric, ect... That sounds good to me lol.Mabel Figworthy wrote:Also, if we insisted on that rule, there might be far fewer presents....karen4bells wrote:LOL good thought there, but I really do hope you are able to get the needed supplies soon!!I realized I have to buy EVERYTHING before I start it...
