I love the Kirk picture! I had to stop myself from laughing out loud since I am at work. A kid was looking over my shoulder and kept asking me, "What's that?"

Re: Ali-Cat's Biscornus - Loving Homes Wanted!!

Post by ali-cat »

I'm missing these. :( Would anyone like one?

My back's really bad at the moment, which for some reason seems to be making me struggle to work on my HAED – so I thought I could make a few (more dozen) biscornus.

If you do – please PM me your address and I'll make and send you one. I find them so much fun to do and really would like to make some for my 'friends' on the forum.

If you have a particular colour preference or style let me know otherwise I'll go with what I hope you'll like ….. funnily enough I've already got ideas for Rose, threadbear, coffee freak, Charmagne and a few others!!

So please help me, by keeping me occupied, by offering a good home to one. I can't say when they will arrive, but over the next lot of months a little squishy parcel could be dropping through your door which will hopefully brighten your day. :D

What a lovely idea, ali -- I'm just sorry it came about because you're not feeling well

I'll sign up! Would you like me to send you a thread (perhaps a variegated hand-dyed or something like that) to make it with? That way there will be something new there for you to enjoy while making something pretty for me :-)

Sure, I'd be happy to be on your list if it would help you! I showed my DH that excellent Tribbles pic, he thought it hilarious as well. He had basically the same comment as yours, "what are you going to do with them all?". So I haven't made many more. I'd be happy to send you thread and/or fabric too!

LMAO! Brilliant! I love the tribbles and I expect that's how my fiancé feels at times too :P

Biscornus look like great fun to stitch and I'd love to stitch one, but....I have no use for one what~so~ever! What the heck do you do with them once you've stitched them?

Thank you!! I can make more biscornus without scaring Mark!! :D

Please don't think or worry about sending me anything - you are all doing me the favour!! :D

I only ask three things!
1. Let me know they arrive safely.
2. Give them a good and loving home.
3. Tell me how long it takes before someone says 'that's nice .... ummm, what do you do with it?'

Anyone else, please let me know!! My needles will be happy for the next few weeks!!
