Went to Michael's today, that's one of the craft store chains in Canada for anyone who doesn't know it, and to frame this it cost me $70 (about 44 GBP for you UKers) :( And that is WITH 50% off. It's not even one of the expensive frames. No matting. Only thing that is fancy about it is the glass, it's a non-glare type glass. Lady also said it would be 99% protected from fading due to UV.

It better be freaking awesome when I get it back. Can anyone recommend tips for framing so I can save money??

That is super!!!!!! So cute.

I have quit using Michael's for framing they are way to expensive. Thank goodness there is a framing place in the town I work so I have the option.

Framing complete! Cost me $70 at Michael's (and that was 50% off..........) but it looks great so no regrets. Going to shop around for better prices next time though.

Congratulations, your bears are beautiful. The frame really suits the picture, but wow that seems very expensive.

If I do a design that is quite small, I sometimes go to a shop nearby that sells reasonably priced framed pictures. I find one of a similar size, then replace it with my cross stitch when I get home! Usually works out a lot cheaper than custom framing, and you usually get a mount as well. Having said that, my last 2 pieces did go to the frame shop though even with three mounts my peacock was only £35. (10 " by 12 " design, frame was about 16" by 18")
