I am so pleased that it is finished but ashamed that it has taken me so long. Stupid commuting is taking away my precious stitching time.
The job front is still bleak but it looks like I might make it to November now which is just as well as my poor pug has been bitten in the eye and is currently visiting the vet every week (poor thing
) My boyfriends Car has just taken a turn for the worse and I have been set the task of trying to solve that because he can't (won't) get a job to pay for anything in his life 
The driving is going from strength to strength although I have upped it to two lessons a week which is not helping the financial situation AT ALL. I can now parrallel park and turn in the road - go me!
In between all this I have had some time off work and managed to start my next project which is a birth sampler for my twin's baby (due in January) I found in the Donna Kooler book - 555 Cross Stitch Motifs
Its going ok so far:
I am enjoying the more traditional backstitch and just using one thread makes it look so delicate I can just see it hanging in my little niece or nephew's nursery!

I am hoping to make some real progress on it over the next few weeks, my sister finds out the babies gender all make sure that is is all healthy on Thursday so I am going to modify some colours accordingly
for better times ahead.
